My slow-stitching experiment has taken an interesting turn. As usual, one tangent led to another… and suddenly I was dyeing fabric with tea, saffron, and mulberries. The colours are absolutely delicious.

It also reminded me that I’ve been down this path before—years ago, watering down acrylic paint and playing with food dyes. So I rummaged through the studio and unearthed the pieces I only half-remembered making. Now I suppose I need to untangle this little creative mess and finally finish my frogs.

I’ll share photos of the tea-, mulberry-, and saffron-dyed fabric once it’s dry.
