Can I please ask that any of you who have purchased lights or been gifted them, and have them placed at the Blackwater cemetery please check them. There is claims that someone has been taking belongings from there, including the personalised solar lights.

I do not know if this is true, but have been told so.

I’d really like to hope not. Each light is personalised, in loving memory of those I created it for, and purchased or given to someone, not for anyone else to take.

If you do find you have a light missing from there, please message me.

β€œC Bear” - in loving memory of Corey Beitzel.

Corey was a local here in Blackwater, where I live. Bentley & I had the pleasure of meeting him not too long ago at a garage sale he hosted, where he was selling things like Hot Wheels, PokΓ©mon cards, and other collectables. He was lovely β€” even kindly setting items aside for us to come back and pay for later.

Tragically, Corey’s life was cut short on the 20th of July in a devastating accident. He was the passenger, alongside his best friend Shaun and Shaun’s two small children, all loosing their lives.

Corey leaves behind four beautiful children of his own, a partner, and a loving family β€” including his parents, Kerry and Brad, whom I had the chance to meet personally when dropping off these lights.

My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. In support of Corey’s family, I’ve shared the GoFundMe link below. They are doing everything they can to raise a little more during this heartbreaking time. Every share and every cent truly counts.
