‘Mycelial’ is a free-standing work. Part of my ‘The Connective Thread’ exhibition.
I love the way mycelium holds up the fungi whilst connecting it to the ground beneath. ( It’s also really fun to play with shapes!)

‘Mycelial’ is available to view and for purchase at T'Arts Collective from now until 24 October.

Welcome to our newest member, Kate Ellis 🌸

Imagine crocheting a flower with a hook just 0.6mm wide. That's exactly what Kate does — using fine threads to craft miniature botanical bag charms, bookmarks and sculptures that are as intricate as they are breathtaking.

Kate creates under the label Five Willows, a name inspired by her parents' garden in England. A Fine Art graduate of Loughborough College of Art, she moved to Australia in 2009 and found her way to micro-crochet — and we're so glad she did.

Come and discover her tiny, beautiful world at the gallery.
