A visit to the superb property of Bolobek at Mount Macedon for the annual Bolobek Open Day & Garden Fair. So good to catch up with fellow design peers, old friends & of course a huge thank you to Brigid and Hugh Robertson, family & organisers for brilliant day out celebrating all things gardening & landscape.

Spring is upon us, however the garden at Bolobek, like my own garden Ambleside Country Park at Blackwood is seasonally a month behind Melbourne & only just waking up from Winter.

It has been the busiest period catching up on my VJD client’s & projects across Australia following time away in Europe. Clients, site visits, suppliers, what a fabulous whirlwind!

My VJD design studio has been restyled & is overflowing with so many wonderful new contemporary pieces, mixed with antiques & art from the 18th, 19th & 20th centuries.
Creatively blending ‘the old with the new’ is a signature style I am known for.

It doesn’t take much for the mind to wander, only a week or so ago we were in Bath, consumed by the European heatwave, staying cool and ensuring all our favourite places and landmarks were visited.
