Today was bittersweet. Our Belconnen shop closed its doors for the last time.
To every customer who supported us over the past two years and came in today, in the madness of Christmas Eve, to say goodbye – thank you. Your kind words and encouragement through these tough economic times have meant the world to us.
LotusMagic was created as a Social Enterprise to give back to the underprivileged teens we support but it’s also a heart-centred space where everyone feels welcomed and valued. This has alway been important to me and I would like to thank Mobina for helping to bring this vision to life in Belconnen. Your passion for our mission has been incredible. Thank you for making such a profound difference.
As I left today and locked the door for the last time, a customer saw me and just hugged me; that's all she needed to do, no words, just an embrace, an embrace that spoke a thousand words.
