A little restock of the most INCREDIBLE balms, packed full of wild Scottish magic. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Clare from Highland Skincare Company has such a beautiful, green witch touch to her craft. The botanicals, the essential oils & the blends she creates are just gorgeous.

The balms are light, non-greasy & lovely for the whole family… the sort of things you find yourself reaching for without even thinking about it.

I’ve definitely taken a shine to this range. The Ground Roller in particular has become a staple of mine.

I love having my favourite essential oils together in one little roller that I can keep close and reapply throughout the day.

I’ve even had people ask me what I’m wearing when I’ve had it on… which says a lot. 🌿

There’s only a small restock here, so if you’ve been waiting for these, I wouldn’t hang about too long. 🤍

There’s something really wholesome about getting a call to say you’ve been nominated for an award.

Then comes the moment you find out you’re a finalist... honestly, the little rush you feel.

Knowing that this little business I’ve poured so much of myself into, & the story behind it, has resonated with people enough for them to want to recognise it... that means more than I can really put into words.

What I’m building has never just been about having a shop.
It’s about sharing my love for beautiful things, natural things, things made with care. It’s about creating a space where other small businesses & creatives can share their work too.

Things I truly love.

I want it to feel like somewhere you wander into and instantly feel at home... a cosy kitchen, a witchy little cottage, maybe even a bit like your Nan’s house, where there are beautiful things to look at & stories behind every corner.

This particular award feels really special to me. Knowing the story behind Kylie & why she started these Australian Ladies in Business | Small Business Support & Success awards makes being part of it feel even more meaningful. There’s something pretty powerful about women creating spaces to recognise & celebrate other women.

I don’t need an award to know that what I’m building is a little different, or that there is room in this world for spaces like mine. But being nominated, & now becoming a finalist, is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

So thank you to whoever saw something in Àine & Co. & took the time to nominate me. I appreciate it more than you know.

I cannot wait to get dressed up, head along with OMGrazingAU & spend the night celebrating some bloody incredible women 🤍

These bath salts just make me happy.🤍

I find myself switching between 104 & Sàsta depending on the day.

104 is the one I reach for when my mind feels a little too busy. It’s soft & calming and makes me want to sink into the bath, breathe out & stay there for a while.

Then there are the days when I’m completely worn out but somehow still have things to do. That’s when I reach for Sàsta. The lemongrass is fresh & uplifting & seems to wake something back up in me.

I suppose that’s why I love making these blends. They’re not really about what smells nice. I make them around how I want to feel.

Some days I need calming.
Some days I need waking up.
Then some days I just need a hot bath & five minutes where nobody needs me. 🌿

When it comes to the men folk in our lives, I tend to lean towards the woody, earthy smelling things.

I love using frankincense & cedarwood, especially in the things I make for my husband.

Who, of course, gets to test pretty much everything around here.

Here’s a little collection of simple, natural things that I think make lovely gifts for Father’s Day, birthdays, Christmas or just because.

Everything I make is made with pure ingredients, organic oils, essential oils & nourishing butters.

Even the pottery is handmade by Josh Joshua Flanagan , so it can be kept for trinkets.

And then there are the things I don’t make… the socks, key rings & little extras.
Things I love, & I’ve chosen those from other small businesses & makers, because supporting other people who are making things with their own hands and putting their heart into it is a big part of my story.

Don’t forget a card. Maybe the best part of the gift. 🤎

Nothing too fancy. Just good, thoughtful things made by little people that care.

There’s a little pop-up treat for Dad in the courtyard on Saturday 5th September….

Come make something special for Dad, get a fresh family photo, wander the little shops, enjoy some live music & spend a slow morning together. 🤍

Hopefully this becomes something we can do for other special occasions too, but what a lovely day to start with celebrating Dad & making something heartfelt for him. 🌿

A really beautiful way to get a photo all together with no one behind the camera missing out. 🤍

Then if your dad likes a touch of handmade (and a little humour), come & visit my little space. 🤍

I’ve got some pretty great beard balms, oils & soaps, along with socks, keyrings & bookmarks …. all handmade, either by my hands or another lovely small business.

& if nothing feels quite right, I’ll have a little painting table set up in the courtyard where you can make something just for Dad.

🌿 Paint a pot plant & fill it with a little flower.
🪨 Make a little rock person canvas, glue, paint & decorate a tiny character for Dad to hang on his wall.

I’m lucky enough to have this little courtyard space, & I’d love to give the courtyard a little more on the weekends by opening it up to an artist or like-minded creative. 🌿

I’ll supply the gazebo & the sheer curtains, you just bring tables & your art.

If you’re a painter, illustrator, artist or maker creating beautiful handmade pieces, I’d love to have you pop down.

Like a little market stall, just in our courtyard.

There is a small fee for the space, & just like a market stall, you’ll need your own public liability insurance.

At this stage we won’t be able to accommodate pottery or candle as that’s what we have here.

I’m hoping this little offering brings another layer of creativity, people & life into our courtyard.
Give some beautiful local makers a lovely spot to share what they do.

Every blend is made by my hands & honestly, it’s one of my favourite parts.

I don’t start with a list of notes. I start with a feeling. A memory.

The smell of a lavender garden after rain. A walk through the rainforest. My Nan’s bungalow.

Every blend begins with somewhere I’ve been, something I’ve loved, or a feeling I want to hold onto just a little longer.

I blend entirely by instinct & by how each oil makes me feel.

Some wrap around me like a warm blanket after a long day, Others clear the noise in my head & leave me feeling lighter, & then others flick an energy switch.

The scent of lavender can soften the day. Citrus can lift the spirit & Frankincense has this beautiful way of slowing me down.

That’s the beauty of true aromatherapy.
Pure essential oils have been adored, not only for their beautiful smell, but for the way they can gently support our mood, emotions & wellbeing.

Our sense of smell is deeply tied to memory & emotion, which is why a single blend can transport you somewhere you thought you’d forgotten.

I blend them to tell a story, to stir a memory & to make you feel something.

Also we have had a glow up with our labels… much better. 🌿

Honestly, the only way to properly enjoy either is in a PINKSOY ~ by Frosina b**b mug.

I’ve somehow collected quite a few over the years (zero regrets 😂), & they’re the mugs I reach for every single day.

They’re just one of those things that make your morning cuppa feel that little bit more special.
