A late 19th / early 20th century spelter statue of a classical young man, screwed to a wooden base.
The figure has a beautiful patina, with the unfortunate loss of a thumb and an historic repair to both legs.
Measures 52cm in height.

New to my personal collection is this beautiful 18th century Dutch walnut marquetry chair, against a large 19th century European tapestry.
Antique collecting doesn’t get any better than this 😁

NEW STOCK: An early 19th century fruitwood hall table, with a rectangular top above a singular frieze drawer, on turned legs joined by stretchers. This rustic piece is bursting with character and is wonderfully reminiscent of a bygone era. The table has scratches and marks on most surfaces, but is very solid and structurally sound.
Provenance: From a private collection in Tasmania.
Height: 68cm
Width: 104cm
Depth: 66cm

New stock: Who doesn’t like traditional blue & white china plates? Here we have a pair of romantic style 19th century transferware plates. These are one of ten different patterns belonging to the ‘Florentine China’ series, this pair being titled ‘Pearl’, that are attributed to Samuel Alcock & Co. The scene depicts a lady and child walking in the gardens of a beautiful villa. Samuel Alcock & Co was a leading pottery manufacturer in Burslem, Staffordshire, which operated between 1828 and 1859.
Both plates are in good condition, with typical discolouration to the ceramic. There is a hairline crack in one plate, but it does not affect it in any way.
Width: 27cm (each)
Circa 1840.

DM me if you have any enquiries. Thank you.

New stock: A striking vintage Florentine tray made from wood and papier-mâché, and handpainted in a royal teal and gold combination. This item is in good overall condition with wear consistent for its age. There are small patches where the gold paint has been worn away, revealing the papier-mâché finish (see photos).
Circa mid-century.
