Little patients deserve big design thinking.

Queensland Children’s Clinic has been designed to feel bright, calm and easy to navigate, with playful details for children, reassuring spaces for families and practical clinical planning for the team behind the scenes.

From the welcome area and waiting spaces through to consult rooms, treatment zones, admin and staff areas, this fitout is all about making healthcare feel a little less scary and a lot more human.

I’m thrilled to share that Leithal Designs has been named a Finalist in the IFA 2025 Design Awards for Proud Smile in the Best Design – Health Services category.

It’s an honour to have our work recognised at a national level among Australia’s leading design studios. Over the past five years, Leithal Designs has grown into a studio known for creating innovative, functional, and experience-driven interiors across the medical, retail, and hospitality sectors — so this recognition is a real milestone.

Café Two 14 is a space of quiet strength. Every element — from the soldier silhouette to the warm timber tones — was selected to create not just a café, but a sanctuary. A space where patrons feel welcome, remembered, and at ease.

Designed by Leithal Designs, this fitout is both a tribute and a transformation. It is proof that even the smallest spaces can hold the biggest meaning.

To the team at Café Two 14 — thank you for your trust, your heart, and your vision. This one meant something.
