🧡 Now I'm no good at math, but only 1 out of 50 Etsy listings having REAL photos is pretty fkn abysmal. Support real artists! | Crochet Crashout Ep 5 🧡

What kind of a standard does it set for artists wanting to sell their hard work and patterns on Etsy when it's so ridiculously over-saturated with AI slop?? I can almost guarantee most patterns that aren't super niche would have a stupid amount of AI-generated counterparts. It's so ridiculous. Anyway, show love to the REAL crochet artist featured in this episode Lisa M Fox 🌙 Crochet Goddess

📝 FUN FACT: My cat brought me a big-ass dead spider yesterday. Nearly shat myself, and when I tried to take it off him, he ran away. Bastard behaviour 🕷

🧡 AI is getting better at imitating crochet, but it still looks like hot garbage when you pull out the magnifying glass 🧡

TheWorldCrochets on TikTok is an abysmal profile to look at. The fact they use AI for even the most basic of things like a granny square is embarassing. You can't even put in the effort in the Subscription Stickers to be crochet-related too? And man, if I want to have a panic attack, I'll just got their website! I swear there's more ads than actual bu****it crochet content. Shameeee

📝 FUN FACT: Doing my Halloween hair today hehe 🎃

🧡 Why spend time making patterns when you can churn out AI Slop that doesnt work whatsoever 🤡 Stick around to see a live demo! 🧡

Crochet Paso a Paso Patrones has a LOT of Followers on Facebook. I can only imagine how many of those people have seen a cute pattern, tried to make it, and been sorely disappointed that what they've made looks nothing like the picture. Based on their Youtube content, this creator seems to be quite talented... but they choose to churn out AI slop instead. It's the sad state of the crochet community
●●●
📝 FUN FACT: Riley the cat makes a mini debut at the end. He also hates AI slop 🐈

🧡 I actually don't give a f**k if it's cheaper to buy these bundles with copius patterns - 99% of the time it's a mish mash of stolen work, or AI-generated patterns. I can guarantee More Than Knots | Crochet & Embroidery 🧶 is only one of my artists whi had their work stolen. Please go show some support 🧡
●●●
WBaiStudio on Etsy has numerous listings with extreme quantities of patterns that you straight up can't trust. The listing pictures are a f**king mess. Please be on the lookout for the telltale signs of SLOP
●●●
📝 FUN FACT: As I was editing, I may have uncovered some FURTHER bu****it. I'm just awaiting for further evidence to pop up for my investigation 🔎

🧡 First post in months and I'm going straight for the neck. Please show support to Mari | Designer de Amigurumis who is the original designer of the stolen work shown in the video 🧡

📝 FUN FACT: Got a mean-ass headache boyyyy 😵‍💫 Please feel free to send any f**k-ass Etsy seller my way that you'd like me to investigate :)
