🫣 sneak peek at some beautiful BOYS clothes we have currently in shipment 🛳️

We’re finding a lot of delays with transit at the moment, but our full ‘launch’ shouldn’t be too far away ♥️

So excited to stock A HEAP of boys clothes in our store. As a mum of two boys, the lack of variety and range here in Australia kills me!

Spent HUNDREDS on all these toys that are supposed to ‘spark’ imaginative play 💫 but just sit there untouched? Forgotten how to actually play with your kids?

Playing with your kids is one of the most fulfilling experiences as a parent. It allows you to bond with your kids, understand them better, and create memories that will last a lifetime. However, sometimes parents struggle to play with their kids using imagination. They may feel like they lack creativity or that they're not good at playing pretend. Here are some tips to help parents overcome these challenges:

1. Let go of your inhibitions

As adults, we tend to overthink things and worry about how we'll come across to others. LET GO of these inhibitions and be in the moment. Don't worry about looking silly or not knowing what to do. Your kids will appreciate the effort you're making to spend time with them.

2. Follow your child's lead

Children are naturally imaginative and creative. They have a way of coming up with the most unexpected and delightful ideas. Let them take the lead. This will allow them to feel empowered, and you'll be surprised at the ideas they come up with.

3. Use props

You don't need to go out and buy expensive toys. Simple things like blankets, pillows, and cardboard boxes can be transformed into castles, tents, and spaceships 🚀

4. Create a story together

Start with a simple premise, like a boy and his dog going on an adventure. Take turns adding to the story and see where it takes you. This can be a great way to bond with your child and encourage their creativity.

5. Play games

Games like "I Spy" and "Simon Says" can be adapted to fit any theme or storyline.

In conclusion, playing with your kids using imagination can be a challenge for some parents, but it doesn't have to be. By letting go of inhibitions, following your child's lead, using props, creating a story together, and playing games, you can have a fun and fulfilling experience with your child. Remember, it's not about being perfect or having all the answers. It's about spending time with your child and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
