Here We Go Again

Life moves in cycles — departures and returns, endings and beginnings, ups and downs. What once felt heavy can, with time, begin to feel spacious. We can decide, if we want, to cross the horizon once more, even without resolution, simply because we understand that movement itself is part of the process. When we trust the rhythm of starting again and step forward into motion or look at something familiar with fresh eyes, we allow repetition to become renewal. This is an invitation to meet what comes next with openness, lightness and a willingness to begin again. Even if everything isn’t clear — forward motion carries its own quiet promise.

Quiet Leaving

There are some departures that do not end.

Some move beyond reach, some beyond the horizon and some beyond visibility.

Time carries them on.

Afternoon Walk

An afternoon walk is often filled with ordinary moments. The hum of traffic, a bird song, sunlight catching on windows, chatting walkers, a barking dog, leaves on the footpath, music in the distance, trees casting shadows from overhead, the rhythm of your own footsteps… These small, passing details, fragments that become part of the day’s texture, are beautiful in their own quiet way, reminders of how the simplest moments can linger and shape what we remember. Let what you remember be what mattered, even if it was small.

“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realise they were the big things.” — Robert Brault

What Remains Beneath

Life is beautiful and turbulent, often at the same time. We can usually handle the beauty just fine, maybe with a happy tear or two. The turbulence, though — that’s often harder to take. But what if we remembered that beneath every moment of turmoil, something steady still endures? Even as life softens, erodes, and reshapes us, there remains a quiet residue — a trace of truth, a heartfelt presence, a knowing we can sense even when we can’t find adequate words to name it. Below the surface, there is a softer current that carries what matters most, the part that lingers after experience has weathered the outer life. This is an invitation to pause, to listen inwardly, to notice what has stayed with you long after the turbulence has passed.

“We are not what happens to us. We are what remains.”

Hello there!

It's been a long while. I've been quietly working behind the scenes on some new things and I'm finally ready to share.

As part of my passion for Art, I am happy to share that I am now offering Creative Art Therapy. I will be offering this under the entity Tapa Creative - which has a special energy and meaning all of it's own. I will also be moving into a new studio soon, called 'Studio Vā' a name that also has a special energy and meaning all of it's own. But more about that later.

Curious about creative art therapy and its benefits for your wellbeing?

I’m hosting 2 special women’s circle pilot sessions.

⚡️ What is Creative Art Therapy?
Creative Art Therapy is a gentle, therapeutic process that uses creativity — like drawing, painting, collage or mixed media & more — to help you explore emotions, gain clarity and reconnect with yourself. We don’t aim for perfect or even “good” art. It’s about expression, reflection and moving through the creative process.

⚡️ These sessions are for women who…
• Feel disconnected, creatively blocked or emotionally overwhelmed
• Crave time for themselves, away from roles and responsibilities
• Are curious about creative art therapy but unsure where to begin
• Want to explore their inner world in a safe, supportive circle

⚡️ What to Expect:
• 2 hours of creative art therapy guided by a qualified Creative Arts Therapist (HICAT)
• A gentle theme and prompt to explore through art
• Time for reflection, journaling and sharing (optional)
• All materials provided
• No art experience needed — just curiosity.

Theme for session 1: Reconnecting with joy, curiosity, and playful self-expression. (Woman/feminine archetype for this session is Joy)

Theme for session 2: Feeling safe in the creative process and in yourself. (Woman/feminine archetype for this session is Amani)

Which one is calling to you?

✨ Dates: 1) Tuesday 23 September, 6-8pm or 2) Wednesday 1 October, - 6 - 8pm
📍 Location: Studio Vā (Opening soon at The Foundry Bulimba)
🎟️ Special Pilot Price: $45 per session

Spots are limited to keep the space intimate and supported.
Come and try something different — your creative self is waiting.
