Had another great meeting at BConnected Mt Gravatt this morning.

As usual, we had a group of very enthusiastic business owners all keen to learn and share. Conversation never slowed down and no doubt some very useful connections were made.

I never cease to be amazed at the quality of people coming to these meetings and I am already looking forward to the next meeting.

And … a heads up - - AS OF NEXT WEEK THE MEETINGS WILL BE HELD EVERY FRIDAY, SAME PLACE, SAME TIME.

What it means to have weekly meetings is the ability to be able to accommodate business concerns around missing a meeting. Why … because weekly meetings provide the opportunity to be able to more effectively schedule time and avoid what missing what are always valuable meetings … ie if one meeting has to be missed, the next one is only 7 days away!

This will be of so much benefit to members and guests who have busy schedules but would like to be at the meetings as much as possible.

* The Lesson: We spend 10 minutes learning a new way to work smarter, not harder. We share what’s working right now in the real world.
* The Deep Dive: We break into small groups to talk shop and find ways to help each other move the needle.

This is more than just a meeting … it’s an education, an opportunity to learn and share, to connect with like-minded individuals.

Another great Bconnected meeting done and dusted. Our Mt Gravatt group is really showing what it is made of … focused business owners seeking to share knowledge and grow collaborations in an atmosphere of compete trust.

Today we had two more visitors, which is a very good indicator of how people are starting to see the value on offer. Yes, we may still be small in quantity but we are certainly not small in quality.

Our Help Desk segment proved to be a great way of both helping a member with an issue while providing so much new information to those listening in. The question was around marketing, and as it happened we had three marketers, all with a different focus. What a resource to draw from.

Our 15 min 1-1 Deep Dive Networking Sessions proved very successful with members totally engrossed in conversation.

So … if you missed today’s meeting maybe you could look to joining us in a fortnight’s time.

ANOTHER GREAT MEETING AT BCONNECTED Mt GRAVATT

It’s Wednesday morning … and time to pop along to my favourite group meeting of the week … BConnected Mt Gravatt.

I really love these meetings .. so much to share and learn, and so much interaction from both members and guests.

This might still be a fairly new group, but already we are seeing seeing a core of members at every meeting along with a constant stream of visitors.

The visitors come to find out what all the ‘noise’ is about, and many choose to stay on as members.

ANOTHER GREAT MEETING THIS MORNING AT BCONNECTED.

The Mt Gravatt group may be relatively new, but an interesting comment made at the meeting seemed to sum up the general feeling about the group. “There is a sense of belonging” was what our latest new member was heard to state, and words that really summed up the general feeling in the room.

And, this view will only strengthen as time goes by, because the group is growing into a collection of like-minded and focused people, focused on sharing, contributing and collaborating. That was made so obvious during our breakout sessions where every member came back to the table with a wide grin on their face. That says it all I suspect.

Our visitors this morning were so complementary about how the meeting flowed … and it seems at least two of them are planning to join our group, which is very exciting.

So, if you weren’t there this morning perhaps it’s time you were. Bconnected has ‘got it right’, and the Mt Gravatt group is shining the light on a philosophy that is fresh and exciting.
