Thought we’d reintroduce ourselves to some new faces around here. We’re Chelsea and Aaron, the couple behind By Gray 👋🏼
By Gray has been our dream for years, a passion project born from countless late-night conversations about creating homewares that don’t just fill a space but bring meaning, curiosity, and conversation to it.
Aaron (my fiancé) is an artist at heart. He’s the mastermind behind our product design and build, all while working a full-time gig. By Gray actually started when we were toying with the idea of selling prints, a creative outlet that slowly grew into designing bold, functional art for the home.
I (Chelsea) run my own creative Instagram agency, and together we have the very important job of raising our almost 3 year old, Cali, who is our entire world.
Together, we’ve always loved the idea of building something that feels intentional and unlike anything else in the Australian homewares space. We were sick of walking through stores and seeing the same design copy and pasted and wanted to bring some uniqueness to this industry.
This isn’t our full-time gig (yet 😉), it’s something we’ve poured our hearts into alongside work, family, and life. A way to carry forward our love of creativity and design into tangible pieces you can actually live with, admire, and talk about.
Seeing it all finally come to life is surreal, and we’re so excited to now share it with you. We can’t wait for the moment our pieces make their way into your homes and become part of your story.
