Not long until market day! Don't forget to call in to the Shire Clerk's markets on Saturday, browse the many stalls (including our fabulous stall in the hall) and perhaps enjoy a delicious Devonshire tea on the veranda of the shire clerk's cottage. We'll be there from 8am until 1pm.

The sixth exhibitor at our upcoming "Created with Colour" exhibition at the Richard Randall gallery at Mt Coot-tha (24 to 29 August) is Pat Jefferies (also of Airport). Creating with fabric and a love of textiles has been her life's passion. Pat has been a quilter for many years and has received numerous awards. In recent years she's been exploring the wonderful world of textile art. Using patchwork fabrics and rope, Pat makes unique bowls, placemats, table centres and free form sculptures. She also creates handbags and messenger crossbody bags using men's ties. Her beautifully inspired original pieces will be on display for the duration of our exhibition.
