Hello 👋🏼 Happy Weekend! We finally got back in to give the shop a spruce up. We’ve moved the centre plinths to make a bit more room for people to get in and out. We will be restocking some favourites like Al.ive, Moss St and Brass soon. 💕☀️ Plus Tessa and I have been making some more bits and pieces for your home collection!

Hello Friends!

Well, it’s been a year! (Or 6months that feel like a year!) have I told you I have gone back to full time work as a Landscape Architect so no need to say that that and doing parental duties is keeping me busy!

Mum, Tessa and I decided to reduce our shop size at Vend so that we can keep it looking full and beautiful on our limited time schedules and really hone into to what you guys love!

My long term friend and gorgeous soul Mel has lots on too so Lucky Coast is now sadly not with us but they are still available online if you’ve missed them - just shoot them a message to - they are such hard workers, wonderful kind people and creative geniuses that you need to follow and support them.

The plus side to downsizing is this - that I was able to make time today for myself - no plan Saturday - to potter and garden and just enjoy my time at home without running around and doing or seeing anyone or thinking too much about all the things I need to do.

It was fabulous, I felt like I really connected with my true self again today. I also felt more creatively inspired than I have in a long while. Sometimes you need to take a step back, a deep breath and remember who you are what makes you happy.

I made table displays / centre pieces (in the picture) moved gravel (ouch my back - I’m old now) gardened, cleaned and just enjoyed this beautiful weather.

Tomorrow I might continue this vibe and create some artwork for the shop and just enjoy this weekend with my peeps.

We get so caught up in our busy lives we sometimes forget to stop and slow down, relax and just enjoy the voids, the blank spaces in our calendars. We don’t have to do EVERYTHING all the time. Even though we feel like we have to.

Today I enjoyed having no plans and no commitments- I hope if anyone’s feeling the pressure of life just say ‘not today’ and designate some of that time to just be. Xx
