At the end of each day Urban Co-Lab I take all of the plants of this table and anything fence height!

We have a resident possum, who crosses busy Kitchener Road every night, via the main electricity wire to see what ‘snacks’ have been left in the shop’s back courtyard.

He loves Pothos, Basil, Curly Sue and the odd nibble of a Hoya. I have made sure he no longer has any temptations - I doubt he’ll find this Cactus tasty!

I’ve been busy propagating more plant stems today (around 50) - this time of year they can’t grow a root system quick enough!!

When you purchase a glass mushroom or cute vase Urban Co-Lab you’ll also take home an established propagated stem - which you get to choose.

I recently remade a terrarium for a customer - steps were

1. Empty old contents
2. Clean vessel
3. Add clay beads and hood quality potting mix
4. Add plants - I used Pothos Cebue Blue and Fittonia White Angel
6. Add some fertilizer, spritz with water
7. Close with lid

Not all clay beads are the same - even from the same stockist

The quality of my latest bulk purchase was nothing compared to my usual purchase

So I took them back to my supplier (with a sample of my previous purchase). They happily opened a number of bags to find my usual good quality

Now I’m back in business again making propagations in vessels ready for purchase.

We also have small bags of clay beads if you want to have a go yourself!

Make some propagations with me!

1. Take propagated plants (here I’ve used Pothos 🌱 and
Swiss Cheese 🌱)
2. Grab your cutest glass vessels
3. Prepare sone clay beads (rinsed and soaked in water
overnight)
4. Put it altogether, add a little fertilizer and water
