Some meditative swishing on tools this morning.
For the black handled knife, my sister has no memory of breaking the tip so I formed a new tip for her.
One of the Global chef's is about 2mm shallower now as it had some belly chips, which meant taking the entire face back to the bottom of the chip and maintain clean cutting line.
I sharpened some dress-maker scissors at Repair Café Woolloongabba last weekend and after returning them, the sewers reviewed for their judgement. A few minutes later a sewer emerged and said "ok ok am excited!. We know you know sewers are somewhat ...well protective... of our scissors. You passed probation! Can you please do these ones" :) Made my day to pass muster by someone passionate of their craft.
Be awesome today.
