Making spaces beautiful-the reason for Wildplay Flora

Florist hands, bridesmaid heart 🤍

There’s something incredibly special about creating the flowers for a wedding you’re also standing in. Balancing the setup with getting ready, checking the final details before picking up your own bouquet—and then taking a breath to be part of it all.

A little extra juggling, a few extra happy tears, and so much love in every stem. What a privilege to help bring the day to life, then stand beside someone you love as they say “I do.”

Special thanks to Xavier Nicolle Flowers | Wedding & Events for making it all work on the day 💪🏻

For Mumma bride and her gorgeous flower girl, featuring the best of this season’s plum hellebores 🙌🏻

The beautifully ruffled leaves of heuchera, echoing the cymbidium orchids and adding depth against the golden grevillea in this corporate design. Thoughtful foliage choices can make or break, and we are digging this deep tone SO much 🍫

Floral Mountain at Hillstone St Lucia’s ceremony courtyard. An unforgettable day of creating this style for the first time last March at this stunning Brisbane locale.

White, fresh green and deep burgundy. A trending wedding palette we loved bringing to life in Byron Bay for L+J, through sculptural calls lilies and cascading tulips.

Looking ahead to 2027, we see this palette evolving with richer w**e tones, layered greens and more expressive floral shapes.

The artistry of wedding florals is in the little details-the curve of a stem, the balance of colour, the way each bloom draws your eye to the next.

I created these ceremony arrangements to feel sculptural and full of movement, while sitting beautifully beneath the trees at Fins Plantation House. A setting as memorable as the moment itself 🙌🏻
