Well we have yet another Zonos (tariff broker) update on shipments going to USA to deal with. I haven’t fully looked at it yet (I’m still dealing with my annual chronic sinusitis 🙄 which is why I’m not burning anything - can’t wear a respirator right now) but I’m at the stage where I just want to completely stop shipping to North America (because if it transits USA en route to other destinations it’s affected). Fed up with dealing with new hoops to jump through every few months - as a sole trader I just don’t have the time. I keep pausing shipping to deal with things and adjust and every time I bring it back online, something else comes up. For those of you wondering why I’ve stopped the ceramics all together, it’s because of this. 98% of my ceramics market was USA and the last horse I shipped out (just a few weeks ago) was almost $400 in airmail, insurance, import duty and brokerage fees. fans.
