Fitness Cartel Australia has built a brand that's instantly recognisable, and every detail of their clubs reflect it.

From the moment members walk through the doors, every screen, speaker, light and control system plays a role in creating a space that's unmistakably their own.

At Fitness Cartel Toowoomba , we delivered a fully integrated AV solution, bringing together dynamic lighting, venue-wide audio, digital signage and intuitive control into one easy to manage system.

We're in Melbourne today at the Audio Logistics VOID Experience, getting hands-on with one of the industry's most distinctive loudspeaker brands.

Void Acoustics has built a reputation for proving that professional audio doesn't have to look ordinary. Every loudspeaker is designed to be seen as much as it is to be heard, turning professional audio into an architectural feature.

Events like this give us the chance to experience new products in the environments they were built for, speak directly with the people behind the technology, and explore ideas that help us deliver even better solutions for our clients.

A big thanks to Audio Logistics for hosting another great event.

You want your boardroom to be a place where decisions get made, and that means your tech shouldn't get in the way of the conversation.

For this Hutchies boardroom, we delivered a complete meeting space designed for simple, reliable collaboration, including a large-format LED display, PTZ camera, wireless microphones, integrated AV rack and room control.

Whether it's a project update, a client presentation or a board meeting, the room is ready to perform at the press of a button.

Because the best boardroom technology is the kind nobody has to think about.

A modern tavern changes by the hour, and its biggest screen has to change with it.

The Durack Tavern already had an LED wall giving their customers a huge canvas for sport, Keno and major events. But this project wasn't about introducing that experience, it was about delivering the next generation of it.

We decommissioned and removed the existing display before installing and commissioning a brand new LED wall as one of the venue's centrepieces.

Whether it's one massive screen for a packed fight night, or multiple layouts showing live sport, Keno and other venue content, the new display adapts to the way the venue trades throughout the day.

Because a modern tavern serves more than one crowd. It's families over lunch, punters through the afternoon, sports crowds at night, and trivia, live music and events throughout the week, and one display has to hold up across all of it.

Thinking about upgrading the displays in your venue? We'd love to chat.

Most customers will never notice where the speakers are. That’s the point.

They don’t walk out saying, “Great coverage pattern.” They say, “That place had a good vibe.” And that feeling doesn’t happen accidentally.

Owner A waits until the fit-out is finished, then asks where the speakers can go. By that stage, the answer is usually wherever there’s space left.

So the sound gets squeezed into the room. One table gets blasted. Another table gets nothing. Staff spend the night nudging the volume up and down, trying to fix a problem that was built into the space.

Owner B thinks about sound before the first wall goes up.

Speaker locations are planned around the room, not leftover wall space. Cabling disappears into the build. Acoustic issues can be picked up before the finishes are locked in. Zones are mapped to how the venue actually works, from dining to bar to outdoor areas to private spaces.

The result isn’t just “better audio.” It’s a space people can settle into.

A room where conversation feels easy. Where the music supports the atmosphere instead of fighting it. Where the space feels considered, even if customers can’t explain why.

And that matters, because research into restaurant environments has shown that atmosphere, noise levels, and sound all influence dwell time, spend per customer, pace and turnover, product choice, and how people experience a venue.

Owner B gets more repeat customers because they're designing the feeling people come back for.

Which Brisbane restaurant do you think gets more repeat customers, Owner A or Owner B? 👇

The Sunny didn't just get a new name, they revamped their whole venue.

Formerly Sunnybank Community and Sports Club, The Sunny has been part of the Sunnybank community since 1967, serving their 30,000+ members.

As part of its venue redesign, the club wanted to breathe new life into the member experience, from dining and drinks to live sport, gaming and everyday club use.

They teamed up with Ampd to upgrade their AV venue wide, including dedicated displays for the gaming lounge and zoned audio throughout.

The result is a space fully designed around how members actually use and move through it, from day to night, restaurant to bar, sports to gaming floor.

Fitness Cartel had 20 locations, more on the way, and a signage platform that locked them into a single display manufacturer.

Multiple logins across different locations. Content managed account by account. That's the quiet cost of a manufacturer-tied platform. As the network grows, so does the friction.

When we were brought into to provide AV services, we presented a range of scenarios built around Fusion Signage and alternative display options, showing the long-term cost benefits and operational advantages of moving to a more open, scalable platform.

Today there are 280+ Pro licenses running across 17 clubs and 3 Merse Wellness Spas. The team updates a single playlist and the changes flow through to every location at once. Artwork appears almost instantly across more than 200 screens in 20 locations. Most displays run Fusion Signage directly on-chip, reducing the need for additional hardware. And we support the audio, video and lighting throughout their gyms and clubs, plus the networking and infrastructure underneath it all.

"The combination of Ampd Electronics and Fusion Signage offered us more than just a software replacement, it offered us a full solution." - Sharon Perryman, Systems and Platforms Specialist, Fitness Cartel Australia

If your venue network is growing faster than your signage platform can keep up, it might be time to look at the infrastructure underneath.

We love getting the crew together in the warehouse, getting hands on with new equipment, and learning together.

We're big on creating an environment where continuous learning is a fundamental part of how we do things. When everyone feels free to collaborate, ask questions, experiment, and sharpen their skills, the whole team wins.

Step 1: Put a giant screen on the street so people notice you. Step 2: Put another one on the roof so they forget to leave.

192 Ann St just got a lot harder to walk past with two custom LED installations. A street-facing billboard pulling in foot traffic, and a rooftop screen keeping people on the deck once they're up there.
