Green Key has formally recognised selected Global GreenTagCert™ GreenRate™ and Global GreenTagCert™ LCARate™ certifications as eligible multi-criteria ecolabel evidence across six sustainability criteria.

The recognition covers specified pathways for textiles, cleaning products, dishwashing and laundry detergents, cosmetics, and refurbishment and construction materials.

For manufacturers and suppliers, it provides another way to show hospitality customers independently assessed product sustainability credentials. For buyers, eligible certifications can support evidence for relevant Green Key procurement requirements.
Eligibility depends on the product category, accepted certification and level, current validity and applicable scope.

Global GreenTag International invites industry stakeholders to review two new draft sub-Product Category Rules (sub-PCRs) under our Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Program:
🔹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 — including materials used in ceilings, walls, floors and underfloor systems.
🔹 𝗔𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 — including sound-control products used in partitions, flooring, wall and ceiling systems, and acoustic panels.

We particularly welcome feedback on the drafts’ scope, technical requirements and practical application. Manufacturers, suppliers, industry associations, LCA practitioners, architects, designers, specifiers and sustainability professionals are all invited to contribute.

Global GreenTag International is inviting feedback on the updated Interior Floor Covering Product Category Rules (Sub-PCR: 2026 IFC) under our Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Program.

The draft covers a range of flooring products, including carpet, textile flooring, underlays, resilient floor coverings, wood and composite materials. Industry feedback will help ensure the rules reflect current materials, manufacturing practices and technical requirements.
