At Towill Design, we are passionate about giving existing buildings with great bones a second chance. W Block at is a great example of that.

Head of College, David Radke, always envisioned a new life for the site’s existing Design and Technologies Building. Originally constructed in the 1980s, the building’s sound concrete structure and large workshop spaces provided the perfect shell for new drama studios and an intimate performance space, complete with retractable seating, stage curtaining, and state-of-the-art audio, visual, and lighting systems.

A video clip of our recent site visit to New Covered Multi-purpose Court project at Grace Lutheran College, Caboolture - and construction is progressing beautifully with InSite.

Standing in space now, the scale and potential of this facility is hard to miss. Designed as a two full size multipurpose courts, this venue has been designed to serve the entire college community from sports events through to school presentations and performances, supported by a large projector wall and AV system.

Projects like this are a reminder of why we love what we do. Functional, flexible, community-focused design that genuinely enriches the lives of the people who use it every day. We look forward to sharing the completed project soon.

We’re really excited to share our third collaboration with Children’s House Montessori, now at Abu Dhabi Ladies Club.
It has been a pleasure continuing this journey together, thoughtfully shaping spaces for young learners. This project extends beyond traditional teaching environments, supporting learning through play, curiosity, and everyday collaboration.
The design introduces dedicated sensory room that engage with lighting, tactile materials and a variety of levels and breakout spaces for children to pause, regulate, and explore.
Carefully considered interiors and custom joinery create moments of discovery - including a tunnel that doubles as a presentation wall, showcasing students’ work while providing privacy to surrounding areas.
We’re looking forward to seeing this space come to life.

Exciting progress at Grace Lutheran College, Caboolture Campus. A major milestone has been reached with the roof now in place on Block G and the Covered Courts, with the grounds shed soon to follow. It is impressive to see the scale of the development becoming increasingly clear alongside the Flex Centre, with the three-building composition taking shape to unite teaching, hospitality, student wellbeing, and sports into a cohesive precinct.

We are excited to start construction on Stage 1 of our Master Plan for St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School & KindergartenA New Multi-purpose Hall!

When planning a vision for the future of their campus, student, staff and community members agreed that a Multi-purpose Hall would be the perfect first step - providing indoor space for community gathering, sports and performing arts.

Beyond it’s day-to-day use by the school community, St Paul’s are excited to welcome the St Paul’s Lutheran Church congregation and the broader Caboolture community to make use of the new facility located at the front of their site.

We will keep you posted as construction progresses over the next year!

Citipointe Christian College – Junior Learning Centre

Towill Design, in collaboration with Citipointe Christian College and community, is pleased to share progress on the new Junior Learning Centre, opening Term 1, 2027.
This new two-storey building creates a prominent frontage to Wecker Road and includes 12 learning areas, accommodating Prep on the ground floor and Year 1 on Level 1. Both levels feature covered outdoor learning spaces and flexible central learning areas designed to support collaboration and presentations. The project also includes a covered outdoor Prep area, new running spaces, and an extension to the existing Prep block, linking the new building with the old.

It’s exciting to see the project taking shape from the ground up!

We have worked hard all year and the Towill Team have voted we will be officially closing up COB today. Beau and Buddy, have spoken (mostly by falling asleep)… and honestly, we’re right there with them.

We are proud to share that Samantha has officially achieved registration as an Architect in Queensland! This is a significant milestone and a testament to her dedication, resilience, and professional growth working at Towill Design for 3.5 Years.

The registration process is no small feat, requiring rigorous study, practical experience, and formal assessment alongside ongoing project commitments Woking on projects at Grace Lutheran College, Citipointe Christian College and Milton State School.

At Towill Design, we’re passionate about supporting the development of our team, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see that commitment translate into achievements like this. Samantha’s contribution to our projects and school communities continues to be invaluable, and we look forward to her ongoing growth and leadership within the practice.

Block G – Teaching, Student Wellbeing & Hospitality Hub | Grace Lutheran College, Caboolture Update!
 
We’re celebrating a major construction milestone at Block G: the pouring of the first-floor slab. This marks strong progress on site and sets the pace for an exciting next stage as we head into the Christmas break.
 
While Block G is still waiting for its official name, this exciting building project is quickly taking shape.
This is a dynamic new facility will host a wide range of student services, including a Student Wellbeing Centre, state-of-the-art Hospitality Teaching Kitchen, Café and Canteen, four highly adaptable Learning Studios, and a Flexible Learning Area, among other features.

A huge thank-you to inSite Construction Services Pty Ltd and Grace Lutheran College for their continued support. Exciting times ahead!
