When architecture becomes part of the experience. ✨

From railway stations and town halls to churches, luxury hotels, business premises and resorts, decorative lighting can bring out the individual character of almost any building.

Behind every beautiful lighting display is a carefully considered installation plan. ✨

Before the lights are switched on, there are some important questions to ask:

🚶 Can visitors move comfortably through the space?
🚪 Are emergency exits and access routes clear?
🔌 Are cables and electrical connections properly protected?
🌧️ Is the installation suitable for its exposure to wind and rain?
🔧 Can technical teams safely access it for maintenance?
✅ Are all decorations and fixings secure and in good condition?

Good planning allows creativity, visitor comfort and public safety to work together—so the finished display feels magical without the technical work behind it ever becoming visible.

☀️✨ Festive decorations aren’t just for after dark!

Last July, ABE Group was proud to sponsor the Brisbane French Festival, featuring festive decorations from Leblanc Illuminations that looked just as good during the day as they did illuminated at night.

Colourful e-deco elements, decorative frames and photo opportunities created eye-catching focal points throughout the festival — inviting visitors to stop, gather and capture a few memories along the way. 📸🇫🇷

Then, as the sun went down, the lighting added another layer of magic. ✨

It’s one of the things we love about these decorative solutions: they become part of the event experience all day long, before transforming again after dark.

Great illumination doesn’t always mean adding something new to a space. Sometimes, the perfect structure is already there.

Trees can be wrapped in delicate LED garlands.
Hedges can become glowing borders.
Planted façades can be transformed with curtains of light or decorative features.

The secret? Work with nature, not against it. 🌿

Professional plant illumination should respect branches, growth, flowering and pruning cycles, while outdoor-rated equipment and discreet cables and fixings allow the vegetation — and the light — to remain the focus.
