Happy Chinese New Year! Wishing you a happy and prosperous year of the golden horse 🐎. Pineapple is a symbol of prosperity, wealth, and good luck during Chinese New Year. Its name "ong lai" 旺來 in Hokanese, sounds like "fortune comes". It is used as a gift for attracting abundance....We are enjoying our homegrown sweet pineapples 🍍, picking ripen fruit quickly to beat wildlife to the harvest is a bit of a challenge, luckily we still have plenty to share with friends..... 🐴

Another restoration job complete and another happy customer! Putting back the broken tail of this blue & white porcelain bird sculpture requires higher levels of concentration. The mixture adhesive stays workable only for 4-6 minutes, I need to apply the exact amount of the mixture and holding the broken piece in perfect line before curing sets in, no mistakes allowed! in

Kevin had a hernia surgery (Laparoscopic Mesh repair) today and needed to stay overnight for the recovery. We were fascinated by the hospital room service menu, it was four pages full of the choices, you can order anytime between 7am to 7pm, and the meal will be fresh cooked and delivered to room within 45 mins. It's free for patient and $22 for visitor! Something to cheer Kevin up💕
