New flooring upgrade in Rochedale

Recently we wrapped up this full-home refresh — SPC flooring installed upstairs and downstairs, replacing the old dark vinyl and carpet that made the space feel a bit cramped.

The owner wanted something that feels more spacious + inviting, so we landed on our SPC Hybrid “Sandy Oak” for a brighter, cleaner finish — and the difference is night and day.

Details matter:
✅ neat silicone edging in the kitchen
✅ minimise height difference on top flight of stair
✅ tidy L-trim transitions for a seamless result

Two weeks ago in Rochedale, our new boards sat higher than the original — which would’ve left a noticeable lip at the top of the stairs.

The homeowner wanted it flush and seamless, so we adjusted the plan:
✅ Minor grinding of the subfloor/boards (~3.5mm) to reduce the height difference.
Result: a cleaner transition, no obvious “lump,” and it feels right underfoot.

These small details are what make new floors look “done properly.”
