Just when you think you know a brand… TIDE DESIGN
After supplying countless Tide Design pieces over the years, we thought we knew them pretty well. Turns out, there was still something to learn.
For our final factory visit, Tide Design owner and designer George Harper took us behind the scenes and shared something we genuinely didn’t know — every piece of Tide furniture is made by one person, from start to finish.
One skilled craftsperson takes ownership of the entire piece, giving it the care, attention and craftsmanship that only comes with true artisan making.
And this is exactly why we love representing Australian designers and manufacturers.
It’s not just about beautiful furniture. It’s about the people behind it, the skills that have been honed over years, and keeping exceptional furniture design and manufacturing right here in Australia.
