Farm gate & online sales. Welcome to Cloverleaf Corriedale Stud, situated in the beautiful Macedon Ranges 50 minutes from Melbourne. The property enjoys a vista overlooking the Lerderderg State Park with views of Mt Bullengarook. This stud seeks to develop quality fleece for spinning and weaving with a soft handle, lustre and good crimp while maintaining show quality physical breed standards requi

red to be admitted as a stud member of the Australian Corriedale Society. The sheep are part of the 'farm family'; The sheep remain in family groups, they come when called for food, this also helps to move them from paddock to paddock. They watch with interest the activities of the people they share the land with, are inquisitive; they self-load themselves into a trailer (!) like a scratch and admit themselves into the house in search of food. All this means the sheep are happy and content sheep with few stressors who produce quality wool. Farm gate sales are a speciality. The property does not use fertilizer or chemicals and the sheep are not mulesed.

Sheepvention at Hamilton. My lovely Heritage Romney ram was judged third in the interbreed longwool competition. Quite a feat with this breed absent from the show for 15+ years. He is a lovely 3 year old purchased from Peter at Grassmere Romney stud. We also achieved champion Ram and ewes over and under 1 1/2 yrs....but as per any other under represented breeds....we were the only competitors. So happy to be showcasing this amazing breed and they gained a mountain of interest from both commercial farmers and spinners.

I bought the lawnmowers up today to try and thin the grass out around the house before mowing. I think all were pretty happy to sunbake instead.
