As May comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on what has been an unseasonably busy month.
One of the strange things you learn in business is that communities have a rhythm. Demand comes and goes in waves, and over time you get a feel for its natural flow. But May didn’t follow the usual pattern—it was exceptional.
Over 400m² of PVC shutters were ordered, along with countless metres of fabric now installed or moving through production for renovations, new builds, and commercial projects across the region.
What makes it even more interesting is that we’ve stopped advertising altogether.
There are no paid social media campaigns, no boosted posts, and no marketing budget quietly ticking away in the background. In the past, we would spend well over $2,000 per month on advertising, plus hundreds more across other platforms. Today, almost every enquiry comes from referrals, repeat clients, and recommendations.
Yet somehow, we’re pushing towards some of the strongest sales figures in our company’s history.
Maybe that’s the closest thing business has to karma.
Do good work. Turn up when you say you will. Stand behind what you sell. Look after people.
And eventually, people start telling other people.
We’re incredibly grateful to every client who has trusted us with their home and to everyone who has recommended us to friends, family, and neighbours. Your support continues to keep our team busy and growing.
Thank you, Bundaberg. 🫶🏻

P.s - we are still looking for good people to join our team - experience is a must. Il be honest it takes a lot to train someone to a level that I can confidently give them a work vehicle and say you’re right to go.
