Approx 3 years ago, former Eaglehawk resident, now unofficial mayor of Gin Gin, Paul "Stretch" Lyttleton aka Tall Paul asked me to turn his rather valuable piece of redgum into a sign for his little house on the hill in Gin Gin.
The original plan was to carve it out on the cnc router, but as that has been out of action for a while, so the timber has just sat on rack drying out for a while.
As I can be a du***ss at times, it only occurred to me yesterday that the giant bloody laser i bought 16 months can do job just as effectively as my router. So after a few hours on laser and a bit of sanding it looks pretty awesome. Sorry for the waut big fella, but better late than never.😁
