Julia Child’s beef bourguignon,
A dish to linger lovingly on.
Time and precision, technique and flair,
Rich French flavour beyond compare.

Brown the beef, let onions glow,
Build those flavours, take it slow.
Pots and pans, a splattered floor—
Delicious… but I’m tired before
The washing-up has even begun!
Surely there’s another way, hun? 😉

Nay—fast-forward to today,
There’s a TM7 to help along the way!
That classic dish still takes its time,
But much less hands-on work is mine.

Beef and bacon, mushrooms, w**e,
A rich, slow simmer while I unwind.
A tidier kitchen, less to do,
And time to have a chat with you.

Julia, I think you’d understand—
A little Thermie helping hand.
French tradition, modern flow…

🍋Lemon Cheesecake Pots with Walnut Crumb—today at 4 pm!*

Join me on Facebook today at 4 pm AEDT for a little lemony deliciousness! Creamy lemon cheesecake with a walnut crumb base, topped with lemon curd and toasted coconut—so good! 😍

Why not cook along with me? Here’s what you’ll need for 6 small pots:

🛒 For the walnut crumb base:
• 100 g walnuts
• 40 g plain flour
• 30 g brown sugar
• 30 g cold butter, cubed
• A pinch of salt

🛒 For the lemon cheesecake filling:
• 250 g full-fat cream cheese, softened
• 200 g thickened cream
• 60 g caster sugar
• 1–2 lemons—you’ll need 40 g juice and finely grated zest of 1 lemon
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

🛒 To finish:
• About 120 g lemon curd
• 2–3 tbsp toasted shredded coconut

🥣 You’ll also need:
Your Thermomix®, 6 small serving glasses or pots, a baking tray and baking paper.

We’ll bake the walnut crumb and let it cool before adding it to the pots. The assembled cheesecakes will need a few hours in the fridge to chill before serving.
