Another great cookalong in the Lounge at the weekend! 💚

Do you love a good poke bowl? I certainly do! All those different flavours and textures sitting together in one bowl, just waiting to be poked at, mixed together and thoroughly devoured. 😋

This weekend we made Chicken Teriyaki Poke Bowls featuring tender teriyaki chicken, perfectly steamed rice, colourful vegetables and my favourite crunchy cucumber salad. We added steamed veggies including edamame beans and finished everything off with sliced chilli, sesame seeds and a drizzle of Kewpie mayo. I may have also added a little kimchi to mine! 😉

There were so many photos of amazing dishes that I'm only sharing the first ten I came across in the Lounge!

My cucumber salad and my quick teriyaki sauce were the absolute stars of the show. Simple ingredients, but the combination of crisp cucumber, rice vinegar, sesame oil and a touch of sweetness creates something fresh, vibrant and incredibly moreish. And that chicken coated in the teriyaki sauce? Just a little bit addictive!

There were plenty of smiles, lots of learning and, as always, a few laughs along the way.

These weekly cookalongs are one of my favourite parts of being a Thermomix® Consultant. They build confidence, teach new skills and bring together a wonderful community of people who love good food and good company.

If you're one of my customers and haven't joined us yet, I'd love to see you in a future class. This Saturday we're making **Chubby Choc Chip Cookies** 🍪 and they are every bit as delicious as they sound! The classes are relaxed, interactive and a lot of fun.
