Dare By Design We are a small business specialising in timber furniture and decor using high quality, beautiful locally sourced timber.

We live on the beautiful North-West coast of Tasmania with our 2 amazing children and adopted greyhound Pete. We specialise in creating beautiful furniture and decor using the finest quality timber sourced locally. We are just starting out on our timber making journey, following in the footsteps of my grandfather and father who specialise in the timber furniture making industry. We are passionate

about designing and creating quality pieces of furniture with a contemporary feel that will last a life time. To tread lightly on our environment, where ever possible we use recycled, recovered and sustainable timber. Instead of contributing to societies 'throw away mentality' we believe in investing in high quality long lasting pieces of furniture. All of our furniture pictures have been taken at our 100 plus year old Queen Anne home that we are currently lovingly restoring.
