🎨 A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our Artisans Guild display at Morayfield Shopping Centre.

Over the exhibition, visitors enjoyed an incredible showcase of original artwork created by our talented local artists — from landscapes and wildlife to florals, abstracts and everything in between.

Every piece represented hours of creativity, passion and craftsmanship, and it was wonderful to see so many conversations happening around local art.

Thank you to our artists who exhibited their work, our volunteers who helped make the display possible, and the community members who took the time to stop, look and support local creativity.

Art is thriving in Moreton Bay. ❤️

This beautiful watercolour was created by Guild member Jean Mullins.

Jean has delighted us over the years with beautiful subjects taken from nature, her paintings and drawings are wonderfully created using landscapes, flowers, birds and animals as her inspiration.

Our members create an incredible range of work, and this is only one of the examples that can be found at our shop in Caboolture Square .

Every artisan who strives to create has tools they depend upon.

Here we’re looking at precision cutting tools; a rotary cutter, a self healing cutting mat, and a finely marked ruler which are often used in the quilting.

The exactitude and detail this produces, are what bring these works of art to stunning life.

Today we’re celebrating the beauty, colour and inspiration that nature brings into our lives and creative work.

The artworks featured in these photos have been created by members of the Artisans’ Guild. Landscapes, wildlife, waterways and natural wonders continue to inspire artists across our community.

World Environment Day is a reminder not only to appreciate the world around us, but also to protect it for future generations.
