Soft Sheers, Beautiful Spaces 🤍

There’s something special about wall-to-wall sheer curtains. The way they soften a room, gently filter natural light and create that lovely, relaxed feeling makes them a beautiful addition to any home.

And they're not just about looking good!

Pair your sheers with a blockout lining for added privacy and comfort, or combine them with discreet roller blinds behind for greater control over light throughout the day.

Whether you're styling a spacious living area, creating a peaceful bedroom retreat or adding a touch of softness to your home, full-length sheers offer a timeless finish that never goes out of style.

✨ Beautiful by day, practical by night, and effortlessly stylish all year round.

Thinking about adding sheers to your home? Pop into Sarah's Place Curtains & Blinds and let us help you find the perfect combination.

A Change of Heart at Geographe Beach House 💖

Sometimes all it takes is a little convincing to see just how beautiful curtains can be!

When we first started working with the homeowner of Geographe Beach House, curtains were definitely not on her wish list. In fact, she was completely against the idea!

But after chatting through the options and showing her what was possible, she decided to give them a go. And now? She can't believe how much she loves them! 😊

Soft, flowing curtains have added warmth and texture to the living areas and bedrooms, beautifully complementing the home's relaxed coastal style.

We also incorporated Roman blinds, a light-filtering roller blind and Venetian blinds in the bathrooms, choosing the right window furnishings for each space while keeping the overall look consistent.

The result is a beautifully finished holiday home that feels welcoming, comfortable and effortlessly stylish.

And the best part? One very happy homeowner who has completely changed her mind about curtains! 💖

Clever Choices for Every Window

Sometimes one window treatment doesn’t need to do it all.

For this holiday home bedroom, a soft sheer curtain adds warmth and privacy to the corner window, while a streamlined roller blind was chosen for the highlight window.

That simple combination meant valuable wall space could be kept free for the bed, without compromising on privacy, light control or the overall look of the room.

A practical solution that makes the space feel soft, comfortable and beautifully finished.

A Lighter, Brighter New Look ✨

This beautiful home began life as a display home, complete with the cedar blinds and darker sheers that were very much the style at the time.

Years later, the homeowners were ready for a change, and what a difference!

We replaced the heavier window furnishings with Warwick Burano, one of our favourite fabrics. With its 50% linen and 50% polyester composition, it hangs beautifully and gives the home a soft, relaxed feel while allowing all that lovely natural light to shine through.

In the bedrooms, we lined the Burano to provide blockout when needed, while keeping the same fresh, cohesive look throughout the home.

The result feels lighter, brighter and completely refreshed. We absolutely love seeing a much-loved home given a new lease on life, especially when the owners are so happy with the result. 💖

Fabric of the Month | Revel by James Dunlop/Mokum

Beautiful texture, understated colour and a wonderfully relaxed feel.

Revel is a sophisticated curtain fabric with a soft, tactile finish that adds warmth and depth without overwhelming a room. Its subtle texture gives it plenty of character, while the refined neutral palette makes it incredibly easy to work into both contemporary and classic interiors.

Whether you’re creating soft, full-length curtains for a bedroom, living area or somewhere in between, Revel drapes beautifully and brings that lovely finishing layer to a space.

Sometimes the simplest fabrics make the biggest impact.

Pop into Sarah’s Place Curtains and Blinds to see Revel by James Dunlop and explore the colours in person.

A Home Coming Together 💖

There’s something pretty special about seeing a home take shape and knowing the people who live there are absolutely thrilled with the result.

Beautiful soft sheers bring warmth and texture to the open living spaces, while crisp white shutters provide a timeless, practical finish in the bedrooms. Together, they complement the light, fresh feel of this beautiful home.

This is the part we love most. Helping people make the choices that bring their vision for their home to life.

And when the homeowners are this happy, we’re happy too. 💖

Keeping the Cold Out, Beautifully

Sometimes window furnishings can solve problems in places you wouldn’t normally expect.

This homeowner came to us looking for a way to stop the cold travelling through the hallway, but she definitely didn’t want the solution to be plain or boring!

She chose a beautiful embroidered fabric from the Slender Morris I-Liv Jaipuri Collection, which we lined with blockout fabric to help keep the cold at bay.

And because the curtain is seen from both sides, we added Warwick Lexus in Mulberry to the reverse, giving the other end of the hallway a gorgeous pop of colour.

Practical, warm and full of personality, and most importantly, another very happy customer. 😊
