When I woke up this morning to a message from Joanna Horridge to say that Dolly had gone I was pretty devastated. I’ve grown up on Dolly’s music and know nearly all of her songs off by heart. I’ve danced around the kitchen a million times with my kids when they were little to her music. There’s not a time in my life that her music wasn’t around. I was lucky enough to see her in concert 3 times, once with Kenny Rogers & twice on her own with my beautiful friend Shazza Sharon Buonvecchi We both will miss her dearly she was our absolute idol. Out of all of her songs this one is my favorite. RIP Dolly Nothing holds a candle to you 💔

The day the flower world turned upside down.

With a large destination wedding booked in the South West for a beautiful couple flying in from Singapore, I thought every detail was covered. Then came the news that flower deliveries across Western Australia had been severely impacted, and suddenly all the plans I’d carefully made had to change.

It was a whirlwind of quick decisions, last-minute sourcing, and leaning on some incredible local suppliers who stepped in to help. I incorporated a mix of fresh flowers, preserved elements, and carefully selected silk blooms to bring the vision to life.

Despite the challenges behind the scenes, everything came together beautifully. The couple were so happy, the day ran perfectly, and looking back, you’d never know how much had changed.

A reminder that sometimes the best results come from flexibility, creativity, and a little bit of trust in the process. 💙✨

And in the end, it was a truly wonderful weekend. Everything was just perfect.
