Over 24 years, we’ve been fortunate to work with incredible craftspeople whose work has become part of the Planet Corroboree family.
As some Elders and artisans reach a stage where they can no longer spend long hours collecting wood and carving artefacts, we feel a deep sense of sadness…not just because their work will no longer be shared, but more importantly because a generation is slowly passing into the Dreamtime.
A generation whose knowledge was passed down by Elders who lived traditional ways firsthand.
One such artist is Uncle Ossie Egan of the Muthi Muthi people. His handcrafted clapsticks and amazing burn work are so beautiful and carry the energy of culture.
We are honoured to have shared in his work. Only a few of Uncle Ossie’s clapsticks remain, each a rare piece of his craft.
We’ve some super special didgeridoos too which haven’t made it online yet. Message us if you’re interested 😊
