The Berry Bungalow is a single-level, retro-inspired holiday home in Berry, New South Wales, with wood-panelled walls and a playful mid-century colour palette. Featured lighting is a bamboo wall light in the living room and a minimalist sphere wall light in the laundry and entry.

Project feature ~ Casa Franc

Shaped by a 2019 trip through Puglia, Casa Franc is a calm, soulful family home layered in warm, earthy tones and natural textures.

Travertine, limewash, walnut and aged brass create a quiet European feel, while considered lighting brings the spaces to life. Some fixtures disappear into the walls, while others bring all the soul.

We chat with Danika about the vision behind the home, the materials that shaped it and why not everything needs to be the hero.

Reminiscent of a Japanese lantern, the Hashira range is crafted from organic linen formed around cylindrical shapes. The linen softens the light to a warm, diffused glow. The range spans pendant and lamp formats.

Burleigh House Project

The vision was clean and streamlined. Allowing the materiality of the project and the view to be the dominant features. Through a lighting consultation, we guided all light sources, other than the feature pieces, to be indirect, almost invisible. To complement design elements in a subtle way. This helped to create a warm, family-friendly home with a modern undertone.

Feature lighting is hand blown glass lighting by Soktas, and the iconic Lampe de Marseille in the dining nook. Also featured is the customised, seamless down lights, painted to match the ceiling colour.
