A Coastal Refresh! 🌊

We all have a beloved wing chair in our home. The one that’s moved with us from place to place, holds a hundred Sunday mornings, and has a comfort that new furniture just can’t compete with.

This chair arrived at our workshop with its original city-style fabric… and a long life of love behind it. Now it’s been completely refreshed with Warwicks Picton in Sorbet, giving it a lighter, more relaxed feel that fits beautifully into its new seaside home.

It’s something we see often:

A true labour of love ✨

We’ve been working with the owner of these stunning balloon-back chairs as he carefully restores each one. Stripping varnish, painting, and refinishing the frames before they arrive at our workshop.

Together, we selected Wortley’s Elmsted in Spa, a soft, coastal tone that suits the timeless curves of these chairs perfectly.

We’ve removed the old springs, rebuilt the seats with fresh foam, and the transformation speaks for itself. He’s completing each frame by hand… about six hours per chair, and delivering them to us one or two at a time.

A beautiful, ongoing project that’s turning out better than imagined 🤍

We upholstered this custom daybed in Warwick’s Kuata Sand — a 100% olefin fabric that’s soft, durable, and perfect for outdoor spaces.

🌿 Olefin is lightweight, fade-resistant, and great for most outdoor applications.
🌞 Acrylic fabrics can be a little pricier, but they last even longer in full sun — ideal for poolside settings.

Mid-Century Magic ✨
This beautiful Fler TV chair came to us from Gary & Lou at [The Vault Murwillumbah] – a local treasure trove for mid-century lovers! 🪑✨

One of the best parts about shopping vintage is being able to choose the fabric that makes a piece truly yours. For this chair, we went with Warwick’s Atiko in Seafoam – a fabric that nods to the mid-century era while adding a fresh, modern colourway. 🌊
