House of Wellington is a boutique fragrance house located in Cairns, Far North Queensland. Founder and creativepreneur Jess Wellington (that’s me!), began the brand in early 2016 under Wellingtons Wick, in which we quickly grew a reputation for creating beautifully scented, and high quality hand poured Australian made candles and home fragrance products. What started out as a hobby and side hustle

, quickly turned into something much more, with our products now available in independent boutiques, salons, & gift and homewares stores around the country. Since then, and through maintaining our focus on the importance of sustainable, Australian made products, in early 2021, our long-awaited transition to House of Wellington was finally complete. This rebrand was a purposeful and very meaningful one, reflecting on both our businesses humble beginnings, and our future goals and direction. Whilst the name has changed, our mission remains the same – to create thoughtful and purposeful products to help you lean inward, inspiring daily rituals that encourage self-care. These are products made to provide a luxurious, holistic and distinct experience from beginning to end; to scent your spaces for all of life’s everyday moments, and of course the special ones….

About the dates……
I previously didn’t think we would be making it back for another Christmas Pop Up, due to a double whammy of logistical issues teamed with a big side serve of mum-guilt, but some changes in circumstances as well as the above dates being slightly earlier, means that I will be able to manage both…. And I couldn’t be more excited to be coming back! 🎄

So this year, we will be starting in late November, so we will be there early enough to catch all your end-of-year teacher gifting, and we will be winding up in mid December.
I’ll be sending out emails and will be posting more leading up to the time, and will be giving heaps of notice so our customers have every opportunity to pop in for a visit and say hello.

We’re heading back to Smithfield Shopping Centre for a short pop up over the upcoming school holidays, and we’re really looking forward to seeing some familiar local faces again.

Due to logistics, I really didn’t think we were going to be able to get back again, but with a few tweaks and changes to the way we’re doing things, we’re able to make it work (and if all goes well, hopefully more often).

Our shop will be a little smaller, and we’ll be set up for a shorter amount of time, but we’ll still be bringing an incredible range of Australian made products, as well as a beautiful selection of hand sourced crystals.
So if you’re in Cairns these school holidays, come and say hello.
