A few details from SUNSET SANGRIAS site lately — layers of wallpaper, texture and all the things starting to find their place.

CURIO, in motion. Documentation wrapped, demolition underway and install not too far behind.

A soft palette with plenty of movement, anchored by Smartstone Calacatta Viola wrapping the bench tops and splashback. 3 laminates bring soft peach and Australian timber tones into the mix, while artedomus Japanese ceramics in a classic kit kat format echo the rhythm of the home’s original hardwood wall slats.

A considered mix of old and new. We’re very ready to see this one come together.

ROSETTA AFTER, DURING & BEFORE

The facade of Rosetta stayed largely unchanged, preserving and enhancing its mid-century beach shack character. Weatherboard panelling and custom awnings add to the relaxed coastal feel, keeping the original charm firmly at the forefront.

ROSETTA AFTER, DURING & BEFORE

The main bathroom was completely re-configured, taking over the former laundry footprint to create a more generous three-way bathroom. Relocating the laundry to an extension at the rear opened up the space, with the shower and bath together, a seperate toilet and an open-access vanity.

artedomus Sugie Series tiles steal the show, pairing a punch of burgundy with Laminex AU Sepia Walnut cabinetry — a true match, bringing warmth, depth and personality to the space.

ROSETTA AFTER, DURING & BEFORE

The master bedroom was extended in both directions to introduce an ensuite and robe - two additions that were previously missing from the home. As the renovation was undertaken with resale in mind, a soft, timeless palette was carried throughout creating broad appeal while still feeling considered.

ROSETTA AFTER, DURING & BEFORE

The living and dining room configuration remained largely unchanged, while the master bedroom floor plan was extended slightly which opened up a space to create inbuilt shelving. Throughout the home, the furniture & styling were carefully considered to create a relaxed, laid back holiday feel, layered with rich burgundy tones and unexpected pops of colour for a sense of playfulness and personality.

ROSETTA BEFORE & AFTER

From stripped back to fully resolved.

The Rosetta kitchen was reconfigured as part of a complete house renovation, with a focus on better function within a smaller footprint. We introduced gentle curves to soften the architecture, rich Laminex AU Sepia Walnut cabinetry to ground the space, and Dekton By Cosentino Albarium for its beautifully tactile, concrete-like finish.

The artedomus Sugie Series tile ties the scheme together, appearing throughout the home in two colourways.

Designed for sale, certainly — but with no shortage of design intent.
