Palm Tree Vase. Just like my palm tree mugs, but bigger, & no handle, & usually don’t put coffee in it, but you could, if you’ve had a big night & need a big coffee. or maybe just stick to flowers. that would be best. ok. thx. 😂🌴🌺🌸🌾

I have had the best time running beginners wheel throwing classes & wheel time sessions every Saturday for the past few years. In 2025 we have decided to take a break from running pottery classes. Unfortunately, as much as I love our Saturday sessions, they simply do not cover costs and take up too much of our time during the week in preparing, cleaning, mixing glazes, loading kilns & firings each week. We have loved seeing your smiling faces & enjoy watching you create some fabulous pieces, but unfortunately we can’t see the classes portion of our business continue (at this time) as it is simply not sustainable or profitable.

Big shout out to my husband Scott – I could not have run any of the classes without his help and support. Besides working full time in his own job, he has worked tirelessly behind the scenes helping me with the shop & classes. Getting up early every Saturday morning cleaning the studio, pugging clay or prepping & wedging to make sure it is soft to throw with, mixing glazes, shifting heavy things, and his pet hate – sorting, cleaning & finding lost tools from tool buckets – every week. Without him the classes would have been complete & utter chaos.

We would both like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who attended beginners classes over the years, and to our regulars who attended every weekend. We have loved our social catch ups every Saturday, and I hope we can get back to it at some stage in the not too distant future.

I love making pottery, and will continue to produce pottery in 2025. Stopping classes will hopefully free up some time so that I can make & create a lot more. We have decided to focus on a few new ventures which we are currently working towards and will keep you posted on.

In the mean time, stay safe as we approach the silly season and enjoy making & keep creating.
