✨ HAPPY 2024 ✨
Hope you all had a great New Years Eve - mine was spent celebrating with friends at a house party a total contrast to last year which was spent sitting on the lounge at home with my eldest daughter (who was 35 weeks pregnant) watching her belly twist & turn 😊 can’t believe that was a year ago 😳
2023 was a huge year of change for me & I’m loving my new life changes. I have two completely different jobs, a new granddaughter, my mum turned 90 & I’ve met heaps of new people. If you haven’t been following along - I’ve gone from working in an office for most of my life to become a support/care worker & also a flight attendant.
A great aspect of being a flight attendant is you get to work with a different crew most shifts, whereas in an office you work with the same people day in, day out, so there’s lots of opportunities to met new people. After 5 months of flying I’m still meeting people I haven’t worked with as yet.
In 2024 I’m looking forward to my staff travel kicking in, I’ve already planned a trip to Sydney in February, Melbourne in June & in the pipeline is Bali, Japan & Tasmania.

It’s been a while since I did a so here is the latest with my incredibly handsome grandson, Ryka & absolutely adorable granddaughter, Friday. When the grandies visit me in Cairns it’s become a tradition to do a & for the first time there’s 2 💙🩷 This photo was taken in October when Ryka was 6-1/2 & Friday was 8 months old.
I’ve also added previous - Ryka has changed & grown like my plants have 💙💚
