We may not be making at the moment (boo to adult responsibilities), but I have to give a shout out to Wicked Little Friends - because they've been making up a storm and making me my very own Voodoo Chewy!!

When I saw Charmaine had posted about a custom order for a Voodoo Chewy for someone else, I immediately jumped at the chance to request a custom Chewy for my collection!

And here he is! He is fabulous!

He'll fit right in with my little Chewbacca family.

What a loss to the leather working community.

Vale Peter.

A post from Shannon West:
It is with great sadness I can confirm that Peter Main has passed away this morning. Peter was a pioneer in leatherwork - an artist who pushed the boundaries and expanded the envelope and inspired a whole new generation of leather artisans. Not only was he an accomplished artist but he gave back to the leather community at every opportunity and was generous with time, advice and teaching. Peter wrote and published a number of books not only about his own work but that of others like Ann and Al Stolhman. He had a talent that surpassed excellence, and many aspire to reach his level of expertise. He will be sadly missed by all in the leatherworking communities around the world. Condolences to Matt, Emma, Sarah and Pietra and families.
I will post funeral details when they are known.

Argh! There's a spanner in the works!

It looks like a serious case of adulting has descended on Angelby Creative, and the Bearded One and I won't be spending much time in the workshop for the next couple of months. Boo!

Don't you hate it when adult responsibilities get in the way of the creative fun stuff?!

This means we won't be out and about at markets and possibly not making/posting much, but don't fear, we will be back on deck before the end of the year (can't miss the Fairy Festival!).

A Dark Deed occurred in amongst the happenings at Dark M**o last night. The Bearded One and I tied the knot!

Thanks to Mem for taking on our tiny celebration and turning it into the most amzing event!

Hidden amongst the revelry in Hobart, not only did we have our own tiny celebration beautifully arranged and officiated by the amazing Mem, she also organised a tintype portrait photograph by Silver Studios.

There were cocktails, and fancy foods, and art, and laughter, (and more cocktails) and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to commemorate our special day.

And thanks to the team from Everwood for being accomplices in our mischievous adventures!

Tiny top hats to top off your top hat!

10/06/2026

The Workshop Su-purr-visor demanded the Bearded One be a model... and so he was.

A leather bouquet for a tiny celebration.

Hats off to the Workshop Su-purr-visor, I think she did a pretty good job... whaddya think?
