✅ UPDATE 9:45AM - Trains are running again between Picton and Moss Vale on the Southern Highlands Line. Limited buses may supplement trains while services return to normal.

Trains are not running between Picton and Moss Vale on the Southern Highlands Line due to urgent track repairs at Moss Vale.

Replacement buses are being organised but are not yet on site.

Passengers are advised to make alternative travel arrangements between these stations or delay travel until replacement buses arrive.

Trains continue to run between Picton and Campbelltown and between Moss Vale and Goulburn.

Passengers should allow extra travel time, listen to announcements and check information displays for service updates.

Trains are not running on the Central Coast and Newcastle Line between Morriset and Broadmeadow, due to urgent signal repairs at Broadmeadow.

Bus companies have been contacted to arrange replacement buses, however, none are available right now.

Repair crews are assessing damage to equipment. More information to follow.

⚠️ SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE DETECTED
- M1 MOTORWAY,

Authorities are urging motorists to remain calm following an unprecedented incident on the M1 Motorway this morning.

At approximately 6:30am, a vehicle was observed travelling in the right-hand lane before, without any apparent provocation, activating its left indicator and merging back into the left lane after completing an overtake.

The driver then remained there.

Emergency services were dispatched following a surge of triple-zero calls from concerned motorists who reported feeling "confused," "emotional," and in one case, "seen."

The stretch of motorway affected remained in a state of stunned silence for several minutes before traffic resumed normally.

The driver, who has not been named, was spoken to by officers and described as "pleasant" and "aware of the road rules." Authorities say they have no further explanation at this time.

Witnesses are encouraged to take the rest of the day.

Stay safe out there. Keep left unless overtaking. Apparently some people do.
