We are one of Australia's biggest stockists of Lady McElroy Fabrics and have been selected to be the only brick and mortar fabric store in Australia to retail a range of exclusive Lady McElroy fabrics. Weft and Warp also have one of the largest ranges of Merchant and Mills, See you at Six, Soft Cactus and Attelier Brunette in Australia. We have an extensive range of notions, fasteners and sewing equipment with the largest selections of PRYM products in Australia. We provide a A0 pattern printing service as well as stocking a range of patterns from across the world including The Assembly Line (TAL), Cashmerette, Lise Tailor and Liberty. The remnant basket is packed full this morning including a fabulous 2.2m length of Liberty Sycamore Linen. It’s the result of getting distracted while cutting, so there is 2.2 perfect metres, and almost 20cm of angled edge.

Like all remnants, when they go, they have gone!

Like many small businesses, we’ve been rethinking how we work- and we’ve landed somewhere we’re genuinely proud of.

Walk-in days are Friday and Saturday- no booking needed, just come on in. Same warm welcome, same beautiful fabric, same nerding out about your project.

Monday to Thursday, we’re open by appointment for private one-on-one shopping sessions- in person or via Zoom. Your project gets our full, undivided attention. To book, email [email protected]

Of course, our online store is always open. Pair your browsing with a private appointment if you need.

Classes are still running, with our “Absolute Beginners” and “Bring Your Own Project” continuing to be popular choices. Plus, new classes are in the pipeline, so watch this space.

Clearance Sale News!

All our remaining paper patterns are now only $10! These will stop being available online at about 8am Friday morning (10 April) and will not be returning!

After that time they will only be available in store until we close on Saturday (11 April) afternoon.

That’s a couple of hours to pick up an absolute bargain!

Our physical store is taking a slightly extended Easter break to deal with incoming stock and making space for it by moving out older stock. Online store still operating as normal

We have decided to transition away from stocking paper patterns and free up the space for some amazing new fabric suppliers that we met with on our last trip.
