I've been super quiet on SM for ages, but that's doesn't mean I haven't been quilting.
Let's see if I can share some fun and cute quilts from this year so far.

Doilies and a fun feature fabric, large HST or a full block.
What a lovely way to use a collection of linens that might otherwise not be seen.

Quilted in a large floral design called Herbal in a pale pink to match the sashing.
I'm wishing I had my Nanna's doily collection now... anyone else?

It's a quiet weekend here, we're constructing a pergola in our backyard and we'll be enjoying an extra day as tomorrow is the public hoilday for ANZAC Day.
I will endeavour to have at least one morning sleep-in this weekend. What are you planning that takes care of you?

Purple poppies are in memory of the Animals of War.
This picture was taken at the Animals of War memorial near Hyde Park in London UK. It is a beautiful and poignant memorial to all the animals who served.
