I was gifted this lovely native flower arrangement yesterday, which had reached the end of its display life in a vase and was otherwise being thrown out. I am already imagining all of the way I can potentially incorporate these rustic beauties into future resin works 🤩

Australian natives are still my absolute favourite to work with. They handle the rugged Aussie heat so well and dry down to absolute perfection. Prepping these beautifully resilient blooms to be turned into meaningful keepsakes 🌿✨

Here is my first ever resin pour, 9 years ago! When you buy from me you are not just purchasing a product, but also also my years of experience, skills honed through trial and error, success and failure. As a self-taught resin artist, I learnt so much from this very first pour and I still to this day strive to push myself creatively and learn more all the time.

Sorry if I’ve been a bit quiet on socials lately, I’ve had a lot going on and sometimes just need to step back, recharge and reset. I’m not quite back yet, but I’m getting there.

In the meantime, I wanted to share with you all this custom memorial heart I created this past week. It’s a little bit different to the norm, as this will be placed in the coffin and buried with the owner, rather than displayed. The leaves and roses were picked from her garden.

Unfortunately, due to the tight timeframes, I wasn’t able to incorporate full flowers from the garden as they couldn’t be pressed and dried in time. Usually, these pieces can take 4-6 weeks to create. Fortunately in this instance, I was able to work with the family to create something with the materials and timeframes we had 💖
