Kitchen a Day | Day 27

A little throwback, with a fresh twist ✨

This kitchen is from an existing home we completed back in 2020. Clean lines, soft neutrals, and that generous island that effortlessly brings everyone together.

But here’s the fun part: with the new design tools we have now, we can take a finished space like this and play with possibilities, using our creative license to make small design adjustments that spark big ideas. Think warmer textures, bolder stone, layered styling, or a different joinery tone to shift the whole mood.

Same beautiful bones, new potential. Perfect for inspiring your next project 🤍

If you could change just one thing in this space, what would it be?

Kitchen a Day | Day 26

Warm minimalism, maximum function 🤍

This kitchen sits at the heart of our creative townhouse project in Deakin, where clean-lined cabinetry, a refined tiled splashback, and a statement stone island come together under soft, architectural lighting. The warm timber floors ground the palette and carry you through to the open-plan living zone, making everyday life feel calm, considered, and effortless.

We are proud to share that this Deakin development took out the ACT Master Builders and Asset Construction Hire Awards Building Award for Best Medium Density Townhouses and Villas 2023 🏆
Designed for real living, finished for lasting impact.

Kitchen a Day | Day 25

Ever wonder why classic kitchens never go out of style?

We’re taking a timeless approach here with French Provincial inspiration, pairing deep cabinetry, warm timber beams, and a statement copper hood for a look that feels grounded, elegant, and quietly luxurious. Proof that even in modern architecture, the classics still belong.

Would you bring this kind of old-world charm into your home?

Kitchen a Day | Day 24

Golden hour, warm timber tones, and a kitchen that feels as good as it functions.

This space is all about calm luxury: rich joinery, a strong stone statement, layered lighting, and clean lines that let the materials do the talking.

But the biggest shift lately is happening behind the scenes.

I have been building new AI skills that are seriously improving my design workflow. Less time buried in admin, documentation, and after-hours detailing, and more time doing what I actually love: being creative, exploring new ideas, and refining the details that make a home feel special.

More thinking time. More experimenting. More design.

If you are a designer too, what is the one part of your workflow you would love to take off your plate?

Kitchen a Day | Day 23

Back with a kitchen after a little weekend pause 🤍 For those who noticed, I did sneak in a couple of days off, but here is the next one for your feed.

A lovely classic Shaker style kitchen we renovated in a gorgeous Griffith cottage back in 2019. Clean lines, timeless details, and still one of those spaces that feels just as good years later ✨

Kitchen a Day | Day 22

Warm minimalism, done right 🤍
This kitchen design was completed in 2023 and brings together soft timber tones, crisp white surfaces, sculptural lighting, and subtle brass details. Calm, functional, and made for everyday living with a touch of quiet luxury.

Kitchen a Day | Day 21

Quick kitchen scheme, big ideas.

Putting together fast visual schemes like this is one of my favourite ways to help people see the possibilities.

Mixing finishes, colours and textures on one page takes the guesswork out and sparks ideas you might not have considered yet.

Sometimes all it takes is a simple layout to turn “I’m not sure” into “oh, I love that.”

Kitchen a Day | Day 20

Letting my imagination take the wheel on this one ✨

Just playing with a project concept and having a little fun exploring ideas. This isn’t what the real project looks like, but sometimes the best ideas come from letting yourself wander creatively

Kitchen a Day | Day 18

Same kitchen. Four moods. Endless possibilities. ✨

We are exploring how one refined kitchen concept can completely transform depending on colour and material choices. From warm timber tones to deep, dramatic contrasts and light, airy palettes, each scheme creates a totally different feeling while keeping the same clean layout and considered details.

This is where design gets exciting. It is not about changing everything, but about finding the combination that speaks to you and the way you live.

So tell us, which colour scheme do you like best? 1, 2, 3 or 4? 👇

Kitchen a Day | Day 17

New project mood 🌿✨

Playing with contrast, warmth, and depth. Raw timber, soft textiles, earthy tiles, brushed brass.

Letting textures do the talking and colours set the tone. This is where ideas start to take shape, layer by layer.

Exploring, experimenting, and falling in love with the details 🤍
