A milestone this big deserves something one-of-a-kind. I watercoloured some die cut flowers, added floral paper, and some gold glittery embellishments. A bright, happy palette to celebrate a friend’s 50th ✨💖

It was my birthday last week and I was absolutely chuffed to receive these gorgeous cards.

Just look at the variety — from sweet and simple to layered and detailed, bright and bold to soft and elegant… every single one is so thoughtful and unique. I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such creative and generous people.

And a very special mention to my hubby… who bravely steps into the craft room once a year to make me a birthday card.

This year he officially earned his stripes as a true cardmaker… he created the card upside down!!!! 🤣 Honestly, I couldn’t be prouder — that’s basically a crafting rite of passage, right?!

These are the moments (and memories) that make handmade cards so special.

I joined in Alisa Tilsner Stampin Up Independent Demonstrator’s Build a Card event this month and what a creative ride it was!

Each day we were given a new instruction… but with no idea how it would all come together. For 9 days we just trusted the process, cutting layers, stamping focal images, following along blindly. Then on day 10—finally—the big reveal on how to assemble it all!

The best part? Seeing how everyone’s cards turned out completely different, even though we all followed the same steps. Creativity really does have a mind of its own.

Here’s my finished card—full of texture, layers, ink blending, and a little bit of surprise at every turn 💛

Today we commemorate ANZAC Day here in Australia.

Did you know a sprig of rosemary traveled from the trenches of Gallipoli to backyards across Australia?

In 1915, a wounded soldier brought a sprig of wild rosemary back from Gallipoli to South Australia. That sprig was propagated and shared nationwide, becoming the "Gallipoli Rosemary" many of us grow today.

Here are some photos of the beautiful rosemary I grow in my front garden.

Each ANZAC Day, we wear rosemary not just for remembrance, but as a living connection to the 50,000+ Australians who served in Gallipoli during World War I. Lest we forget.

Check out this alternate design using the Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin kit!

This serene birthday card reimagines the kit's materials with creative layering and clever repurposing. The base features a dreamy blue paper layer—actually one of the kit's envelopes—layered with Pecan Pie cardstock on a white card base.

The main scene is sliced into vertical panels for a modern "slatted" look. It’s called a double vision card.

A simple wrap of linen thread adds a rustic touch and tiny pebble embellishments are tucked along the shoreline to bring the beach to life.

This card was inspired by fellow demo Rachel Tessman AKA the queen of kit alterations!

Exciting news for my fellow crafters! 🎉

Monthly Paper Pumpkin kits are now available right here in Australia — and I am so here for it!

Our very first release this month is the Lakeside Retreat kit, and these are the original cards straight from the kit. How beautiful are those peaceful, nature-inspired designs?

I absolutely love how everything coordinates so effortlessly — it makes creating so relaxing and enjoyable. And the best part? This is just the beginning! I can’t wait to dive into the rest of the kit and start creating some alternate card designs.

Stay tuned… there’s definitely more to come!

Designer Series Paper, Memories & More Cards, ephemera, embellishments, and simple layering is all it took to bring this card together.

I love how effortlessly these elements combine to create something soft, detailed, and full of texture. The layered panels add depth, while the delicate imagery and pops of colour keep it light and fresh.

Finished with a sweet sentiment and a few glossy embellishments for that perfect touch of shine.

Butterflies, bold contrast, and a fun layout.

This card is all about letting that gorgeous Memories & More card shine! I used simple panel layering with black cardstock to really make those colourful butterflies pop.

Added a strip across the centre with a mix of fussy cut butterflies, a sentiment, and a few black embellishments to tie everything together.

Such an easy design that looks striking and is perfect for any celebration!

Sometimes all you need is a simple layout to create something special.

This card is all about that stunning oversized coneflower—I paired it with earthy tones and a textured, grungy background to give it a more natural feel. Finished off with a few metallic embellishments for just a touch of detail.
