The Australian Wool Store Artisan yarns - unique hand dyed yarns and fibres Welcome to The Australian Wool Store. Gorgeous, hand dyed artisan yarn in a variety of plies and bases.

Postage is a flat rate of $10 with a tracking number for anywhere in Australia using Australia Post. I recommend hand washing your yarns and fibres in cold water and drying flat in the shade. I take a lot of care to represent the true colours of the yarns and fibres in my photos. I cannot be held responsible for inaccurate colour representations on your devices.

We made our way to the famous art island today. Art houses, eclectic museums and famous open air sculptures form part of the attractions of Naoshima Island.
Then onto Hiroshima where we ate at my favourite Okonomiyake restaurant.

A lovely peaceful day spent wandering through the Hakone area was very much appreciated after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.

We spent our day making gorgeous temari balls in the sweetest little store.
Thank goodness our teachers were so patient and gentle with us.
Then a quick trip to Harajuku for lunch and people watching followed by a fabulous evening of immersive art.
What a day!!

Day 2 of Tokyo was spent exploring the Tokyo Hobby Show at Tokyo Big Sight.
I was so thrilled to meet one of my favourite quilters, Yoko Saito from Quilt Party - yay, fan girl moment 🎉 🥳😻
