Have you ever noticed a candle burning straight down the centre while leaving wax around the edges?

This is called tunnelling and it’s one of the most common candle care mistakes.

The good news? It’s usually preventable.

When lighting your candle for the very first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar before blowing it out. This helps create an even burn pattern and allows you to enjoy every bit of your candle.

A little extra patience on the first burn can make a big difference to the life of your candle.

Most people don’t realise what they’re actually burning in their homes every night 👀

Let’s talk about the difference between soy candles and paraffin wax candles 🕯️

Paraffin wax candles are made from petroleum by-products.
They’re cheap to make, but they can release more soot and unwanted chemicals into the air when burned.

Soy candles are made from soybeans 🌱
They generally:
• burn cleaner
• last longer
• produce less soot
• give a beautiful even burn

That’s one of the reasons I’ve always loved creating candles that feel cosy, calming and cleaner for the home ✨

Some days you don’t realise how much you’ve changed until you stop and look back 💭

I can’t believe how far I’ve come… not just physically, but mentally too.

There was a time I felt exhausted, uncomfortable in my own skin, struggling with my confidence and wondering if I’d ever feel like me again.

Now I’m feeling stronger, healthier, more confident, and honestly proud of myself for not giving up when things felt hard. 🙏

No quick fixes.
No perfection.
Just small changes, consistency, support, and deciding I was worth fighting for ❤️
